About

Urban Rain started in 2021 during the Covid-19 pandemic in South Africa. This period of stillness, reflection and personal tragedy gave me time to literally smell the roses and appreciate the things that make me happy. Living on a small farm in Johannesburg surrounded by farm animals and horses I needed comfortable, waterproof footwear that could see me through a full day of adventuring doing the things that I love.

I however, couldn’t find natural rubber wellie boots that were comfortable and functional but also fashionable. And so the idea for Urban Rain Boots was born. 

Each boot colour and design has been personally curated. 

It’s just the start for Urban Rain and we cannot wait to increase our range of designs.
